Facebook's Mark Zuckerberg

Always wanting to draw Mark... a tribute to him for re-inventing social-network-ism. He deserved the inaugural Time's Person of the Year 2010 award. Actually I predicted him to clinch it before Time announced the result. Guess no one else has more influence than him in 2010. He's low profiled, keeps revamping facebook, inspires a movie and has certainly inspires many billionaire-wannabes.

This is the 1st time I tried to do a sketch caricature and I think it turns out well. Mark's face did not caused too much problem for me. Used 2B, B and 2H pencils but I think they are too light. Should use softer pencils next time.

Next, stay tune for another my Person of the Year.... the infamous one.... WikiLeak's Assange.

Amanda Seyfried is the drawing target.... she's also one of my favourite Hollywood actress of the moment. She has a clean and sweet look which sets her aside from other actresses. I think she's even prettier than the main  actress, Something Megan in Jennifer's Body. I'm happy that the caricaturama chose her as this week's target.

But I admit the likeness was off. It wasn't when I finished the drawing and before I put on the colours. Hmmm
think I really sux at colouring. Hope someone can direct me on this. Anyway at least the outcome was a beautiful lady than an ugly one.

A sketch of what I'm entering for the theme competition...... hope for the best.
My organization EDB is championing an initiative to push Singapore forward to excellence in terms of providing future promising services and goods e.g. water sanitation, solar photovoltaic cells (cooling down the world), cloud computing, medtech and etc.

The sketch has combined most of the above elements and hope EDB can use it to promote our capabilites in growing these future industries and be in the forefront of the world economy.
